This Month @ The Library
January 2022
Message from the Director
Eunice Franklin is retiring on December 31 this year. She has been here at the Richards Memorial Library for more than 20 years and has made the Children’s Room a cherished destination for countless kids and their parents. We all wish her well in her retirement. Meredith O’Malley, the current Assistant Children’s Librarian, is now promoted to the Children’s Librarian post effective January 1, 2022.  We look forward to continuing the tradition of excellent, friendly service in the years ahead.

Young Adult & Children's Programs
Time for Tales will continue at 10 am on Thursdays in January. Come warm up with stories, silly songs, and a craft. Adults are asked to wear a mask and stay home if anyone is not feeling well. We suggest you call ahead before attending due to potential weather conditions and COVID protocols.

Stop by the Children's room between January 10th and 14th for a fun take-home craft.

The third-grade town tours are back and will kick off with a visit to the library. Students will be visiting with their classrooms starting January 19. Make sure your third-grader has his or her own library card before the visit so he or she can check out a special book. A parent must be present to make a new card.
