David Lockhart will be retiring at the end of June. David is the longest serving member of the staff, having started here in August of 1985. At that time the collection was still found through the card catalog on real card stock! David was instr umental in bringing the collection online through the ABLE system that we then used. In 2000, ABLE merged with the neighboring SEAL system to form the current SAILS Network. It’s unusual today for people to work at the same job for more than thirty years and we’re happy that David spent them with us. He will be missed, and we wish him well.
