This Month at The Library
September 2024
Message from the Director

It's hard to believe but the library refurbishment project is expected to wind down with the majority of the work to be completed by the end of the month!  Once these infrastructure repairs are done, we will be putting collections back together and working on the best use of our spaces. Please bear with us as we change things up a bit over the next several months and don’t hesitate to ask a staff member for help.

Just a reminder that starting  September 2 we will return to our regular schedule of open hours:
Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Friday – Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Closed on Sundays and Holidays

Thank you for your patience and support during the renovation project!

Debbie Clifton, Library Director

Summer reading has come to an end, and it was a big success. 374 children participated this year and enjoyed incentives and prizes donated by Altitude Trampoline Park, An Unlikely Story, The Friends of the library, North Bowl Lanes, The Reimer family, Showcase Cinemas, and Treetop Adventures. Thank you to all of our generous donors.

Come enjoy a woodland animal scavenger hunt! Visit the children's room any day between September 4 and September 30th to search for hidden stuffed animals. Find them all and receive a small prize.
