June 22 marks the first anniversary of the Library's reopening after the first wave of the COVID 19 pandemic. I am happy to report that the Library never had to use the contact tracing logs that were kept and that all of them have been shredded. Now that the State of Emergency has ended, the Library will take steps to return to normality. The public online catalog will return. The Reference Room will be getting four new computers for public use. The Meeting Room will be reopened once the floor is set right after water damage is addressed. We have seen a gradual rise in attendance as people become accustomed to the changing normal. After Labor Day, the library will return to its full schedule of hours.
