Blood Drive

Join the Ewing Branch and the Miller-Keystone Blood Center to help save lives by donating blood. Trained professionals from the Center will be on-site to guide you through the process of helping others in need. 
Improve Your Public Speaking Skills
Thursday, March 19, 7:00 pm
Whether you are a seasoned public speaker who wants to hone your skills, or a novice eager to learn what it takes to feel confident in front of a group, you won’t want to miss this workshop presented by Marianne Ferrara, DTM, of Mercer’s Best Toastmaster’s Club, a chapter of Toastmaster International. Some of the topics covered include: Organizing What You Say, Overcoming Your Fear, Using Your Voice and Body Language, and Impromptu Speaking. An opportunity to practice impromptu speaking will be provided.
Learn & Play Game Night: Forbidden Island
Monday, March 30, 6:00 pm
Learn and play a new game each month. No experience or history with board games required. This month’s game: Forbidden Island. Join a team of fearless adventurers on a do-or-die mission to capture four sacred treasures from the ruins of this perilous paradise.

Oscars Predictions Contest
Stop in and take a guess at who you think will win an Oscar this year! Categories include Directing, Best Picture, Costume Design, Actress in a Leading Role, Actor in a Leading Role, Actress in a Supporting Role and Actor in a Supporting Role. Contest runs from March 2-14 at all MCLS branches. The winner will receive a $25 Fandango gift card! A downloadable ballot and more information are available at https://mcl.org/oscars-contest/.
TrashedArt Contest Voting!
TrashedArt Contest entries will be on display at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch starting Wednesday, March 4th. All MCLS branches will also display photographs of this year's entries. Patrons will have the opportunity to vote for your favorite by either visiting your local branch, or by voting online at https://mcl.org/events/trashedart/.
