Crafty Adults: Beginner Crochet for Lefties

Are you lefthanded and want to learn the basics of crochet? Give this class with a lefthanded instructor a try! Kim, our reference librarian, has been crocheting for 7 years now and would be happy to help you get started with your first project. All supplies for the lesson are included. Only lefthanded instruction will be available.

Story Time with Lightbridge Academy
Saturday, June 27, 10:00 am
Join teachers from Lightbridge Academy for a seasonal story and then make a fun craft! For ages 2-5. Siblings welcome, too. No registration is necessary.
Dinosaur Stories with Mr. Malcolm
Tuesday, June 30, 10:30 am
Enjoy interactive stories from professional actor, Mr. Malcolm in this lively program full of audience participation opportunities. Listen to animated retellings of How to Catch a Dinosaur, Have You Seen My Dinosaur, Magic Tree House Dinosaurs Before Dawn and more! For ages 3-9. Sponsored by the Hightstown Library Association. Registration is required.

Summer Reading Program: Unearth A Story
The Mercer County Library System (MCLS) invites readers of all ages to dig into a summer of discovery with its 2026 Summer Reading Program, “Unearth a Story,” taking place from June 15 through August 8. This year’s theme encourages participants to explore hidden worlds, discover something new, and connect with stories that inspire curiosity and imagination. Learn more here.
