Aging with Dignity: Five Wishes for Advance Care Planning

70% of Americans nearing the end of their lives are unable to make decisions about their own healthcare. In this one-hour presentation, Paul Knight will discuss the benefits of Advance Care Planning, which involves discussing and documenting end-of-life healthcare preferences ahead of time. Everyone who attends will receive a complimentary copy of Five Wishes, a valuable tool for facilitating this process. Registration is required.
Suicide Risk Recognition (QPR) Training 
Thursday, May 28, 2:00 pm
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This 90-minute QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) training teaches community members and professionals how to recognize the warning signs of suicide and how to offer hope to someone in crisis. Presented by health educators from the Freehold Health Department. Registration is required.

Join local musician Miss Kim for 30 minutes of classic and original children's songs. Sponsored by Hightstown Library Association. For up to age 7, with a caregiver. Registration is strongly suggested.
Paint N Sip Jr
Thursdays, May 7, 14, 21 & 28, 10:00 am
Unleash your inner artist and explore different painting techniques and materials while enjoying a juice box! Dress for a mess! Please register each child separately. For ages 2-5. Registration is required.
Open Play for Toddlers and Preschoolers
Friday, May 8, 10:00 am
Caregivers and their little ones can meet up and socialize with one another. Children can play with age-appropriate toys while caregivers chat. For up to age 5, with a caregiver. No registration necessary.
