Branch News
This year’s “Color Our World” Summer Reading Program ended strong, with a lot of reading and participation! We had a total of around 600 registered participants and 106 teen volunteers. 19 lucky winners were called to receive baskets of book sets and book-related goodies from our big end-of-summer prize drawing. We will be having a Vehicle Day on September 20th from 10am to 12pm. We also have our regular story times and baby times continuing through the fall – including a new baby time session on Mondays at 10am for the 0-12 months-olds. We have a new document camera that we have been working into our programs. Teen Volunteer applications went out on August 20th and are due on September 17th. Finally, if you see a new face in the Children’s Department, please welcome Miss Karen to our staff!
