Fall is in the air! Saturdays at the Library are in full swing. Every Saturday at 10am, there's guaranteed to be something fun happening! Join us for Tiny Pumpkin Painting Tuesday, October 24, Saturday, October 28, & Tuesday, October 31. Fun for all ages! As always, community events are posted above the Book Drop & Library events are posted just outside the front door. --Ani, Alisha, Emma, & Laura

Preschool StoryTimeTuesdays, 10am Join Ms. Laura as she reads some fun tales & sings some catchy songs, followed by a little crafting & playtime! For ages 2-5.

Libratory or STEAM Saturdays, October 7 & 14, 10-11am October 7: Sewing
Practice sewing on different materials. Attendees will make a bookmark, a plushie, & embroider easy patterns. October 14: Color vision Learn how the eye perceives color, how color-blind people see the world and how animals' color vision differs from us humans! Also make color wheels and other art. For kids (ages 3-8)

Books & Bricks
A monthly series that pairs books with fun challenges and activities. In October, we put our LEGO building skills to the test! For kids (ages 5-10)

Disney Trivia Tuesday, October 3, 3:30-4:30pm What were Mickey Mouse's first spoken words? What are the names of the Seven Dwarves? Test your knowledge of all things Yensid (if you know, you know).

Weird Little Breakfast Club Tuesday, October 10, 3:30-4:30pm
Make fun breakfast foods using a waffle iron.

Anime Club Tuesday, October 17, 3:30-4:30pm
Watch fun anime episodes while snacking on Pocky sticks. Origami craft optional.

Young Authors Club (YAC)Saturdays, 2-3:30pm Different writing prompts or themes each week. Writing supplies & snacks provided.
|
|
Knit & nosh Wednesdays, 1-2pm All needle crafters are welcome. Master knitters are on hand to teach casting on/off. Bring your own supplies or use what we have on hand. Remember, a day without knitting in pointless.

The Inklings (aka Writing Club) Wednesdays, 2-3pm Join your fellow writers & scribblers for brainstorming, critiquing, writing prompts, & inspiration.

Classic Book Club - The strange case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. HydeWednesday, October 11, 11:30am-12:30pm Fiction Book Club - Sworn to silence Wednesday, October 25, 11:30am-12:30pm Interested? Ask Library staff for a copy.
