Here comes summer!

Summer is right around the corner! Whether you're planning a getaway or staying close to home, long summer days are the perfect time to visit the library.
 
Stop by the library to pick up a program guide or download a copy to your preferred device.
 
Registration for children, teens, and adults is open now, and you can begin logging your reading and activities beginning June 1.

Totally Untidy Tots
Squish and mush your way to a messy sensory playtime with edible goo and rainbow spaghetti.
Come dressed for mess.
Geared to ages 2-4
Naturebrary 
Join us at the library or the Brig Museum at Farragut State Park each week for storytime with STEAM activities.
A park pass is required. 
Geared to ages 3-8.
Citizen Science for Kids
Kids will learn about nature through hands-on science, art, and fun. Learn about Citizen Science projects, and how you can help scientists gather local data.
Geared to ages 5-11

We have a variety of special events this summer for children, teens, and adults. From Animal Wonders and Hoot! with the Outdoor Learning Center to Colorful Chemistry with Mobius Discovery Center and a Homeschool Mini Conference, there is something for everyone.

Eric Herman
Eric's songs for kids are at once ingeniously witty, indelibly memorable, and incredibly fun. Whether you are five or fifty-five, Eric's music will have you smiling, dancing, and laughing.
Geared to ages 5-10.
Hoot! with the Outdoor Learning Center
Hoot! shows introduce participants to the incredible world of raptors. This program will give kids a chance to be up close to wildlife, ask questions, and take a photo with the birds.
