Young Adult Author Spotlight: Christopher Paolini - is the author of Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle series), The Fork, the Witch, and the Worm, To Sleep in a Sea of Stars (out October 5th), and more.
- was 15 years old when he wrote the first draft of Eragon and became the youngest-ever bestselling author of a book series at the age of 19.
- dressed in a medieval costume and visited over 100 schools to promote his book and talk about writing.
- illustrated the original cover for Eragon and loves to draw!
- considers Paradise City, Montana (his hometown) as one of his main sources of inspiration.

Belles-Cadeau (Beautiful Gift) A Library Magazine by Teens for Teens Grades 6th-12th If you haven't been able to visit the Twice Told Tales bookstore inside our Post Falls location to pick up a free copy of the magazine our teens published, you can view an online copy here: If you have a teen (or are a teen) who would like to see your work published in the winter edition (that we will be working on soon), you can send submissions to write@communitylibrary.net for inclusion! We are looking for: Works of prose (fiction and creative nonfiction) up to 3000 words Works of poetry (please limit to three pieces per author) Works of visual art submitted electronically at 300dpi (if you don’t have means to scan items, the library can help you) Other stuff: Comics/Anime/Graphic novel, craft project instructions (with pictures), recipes to try (with pictures), riddles (with answer), etc.

Cosplay Club In Person at the Post Falls Library Thursday, September 9th, 4:30-6:00 pm Grades 6th-12th Cosplay! What is it? How do I do it? How do I hone my craft? The art of cosplay, or costume play, combines all the best features of costume creation, acting prowess, and your favorite characters from all walks of entertainment. Dungeons & Dragons For Ages 13 and up Orientation Must attend an orientation to join future campaigns. Virtual Wednesday, September 15th, 6:00-8:00 pm Learn how to play D&D, build characters, and more! Attending the orientation will be required to join the September, October, and November campaigns if you have not attended one of our past orientations. Register HERE to reserve your spot.
