Teen Summer Volunteer Program Athol, Harrison, Hayden, Pinehurst, Post Falls, Rathdrum, & Spirit Lake June-August (Make your own schedule) Grades 7th-12th (in Fall) Are you interested in assisting the library staff this summer? Do you want to help at programs, create art, work on projects, and more? Fill out the volunteer application, and attend one of the mandatory orientations, and you will be on our volunteer team! Gain skills and experience to include on future resumes, job applications, and college applications.

TikTok Taste Challenge Post Falls Library Wednesday, May 10th, 3:30-4:00 pm Grades 6th-12th Once a month, we will be trying food trends as seen on TikTok. You get to decide if it slays or if it is a nay. In May, we will be trying Curds with Crunch.

Game On! Harrison Library Saturdays, 1:00-2:00 pm May 13th, 20th, and 27th Ages 10 and up Come join other teens and tweens at the Harrison Library to play new board games, old board games, even progressive board games like Settlers of Catan and Monopoly that can take weeks to find a winner!

Young Authors' Club Harrison Library Saturdays, 2:00-3:30 pm May 13th, 20th, and 27th Ages 13-18 Love creative writing? Join the teens of Harrison every Tuesday during summer as they learn the ins and outs of creative writing. And we have snacks!

Teen Thursday Activities! Post Falls Library Grades 6th-12th May 11th- Jimmy Fallon's "That's my Jam" game 3:30-5:00 pm Teens are invited to play "That's my Jam" (as seen on TV with Jimmy Fallon). Teams will test their knowledge of music with tune and trivia challenges. May 18th- Teen Video Game Trivia 3:30-5:00 pm Test your knowledge on some video game facts! There will be prizes for the winning team each round. May 25th - Teen Video Game Day 3:00-5:00 pm Join us after school to play a variety of games on the Nintendo Switch, Wii, and PS4!

Teen Guardians of the Galaxy Parties 2 Locations on Friday, May 12th! Hayden Library (Ages 10 and up) Friday, May 12th, 3:00-4:45 pm Post Falls Library (Grades 6th-12th) Friday, May 12th, 6:30-8:00 pm Teens are invited to celebrate the newly released movie, Guardians of the Galaxy 3! We will be making themed crafts and having activities and games. Grootbeer floats will be served.

Teen Cooking Club Virtual Video Drop Wednesday, May 17th, 6:00 pm *Must register by Wednesday, May 10th Spaces are limited and fill up fast! Grades 6th-12th This month in Cooking Club, we will be practicing our cooking skills to create a delicious meal or snack. Sign up by Wednesday, May 10th to receive an ingredient kit available for pick-up at the library of your choice. Email kelseym@communitylibrary.net to register or for more information.

Make Your Own Jewelry Spirit Lake Library Saturday, May 13th, 2:00-3:30 pm For Grades 6th-12th and Adults Design a unique Mother's Day gift, or make something new for yourself! We have beads, charms, chains, cords, and more. Make earrings, a necklace, a bracelet, or an anklet. We also have shepherd's crook bookmarks to embellish. We may even be able to help you repair your own broken jewelry!

Dungeons & Dragons 5E Spirit Lake Library Saturday, May 20th & June 3rd 1:00-3:00 pm For Teens and Adults An ongoing campaign in a region filled with dungeons and danger! Teen Dungeons & Dragons Campaign Hayden Library Sunday, May 21st, 2:30-5:00 pm For Grades 6th-12th Join us for the continuation of our teen D&D campaign. Role-play your character as they fight monsters, overcome obstacles, explore new maps, and work towards a common group goal. Newcomers are welcome to jump into the game at any time. Snacks will be provided.

Paint It! Harrison Library Saturday, May 27th, 3:00-4:00 pm Grades 6th-12th Let down your artist hair and show off your skills with number paintings for our Harrison tweens. This is a progressive program that can be worked on weekly until your project is finished.

Teen Rainbow Squad Post Falls Library Days and Times To Be Announced Middle Schoolers (Grades 6th-8th) High Schoolers (Grades 9th-12th) Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers: All Teens are welcome to join us for Rainbow Squad, a gathering for the LGBTQ+ community and Allies. We will be playing Just Dance, making shrinky dink jewelry, and having a mac n' cheese bar. Register by emailing your name and grade to teens@communitylibrary.net.
