Get social. With a name like Community Library Network, you can believe community is at the heart of most of what we do. Libraries are a small part of the six foundational pillars the Surgeon General lays-out in their strategy to advance social connection. This is why our libraries host so many regular and reoccurring programs and so many programs focused on social activities. Friendship, connection, and community are vitally important to a healthy and happy community and the institutions that promote connection and bring people together (like libraries!) are therefore fundamental.
