Every Tuesday will now be Teen Takeover Day on the library's Instagram page! We will talk about things like teen books, programs, movies, and more! Get to know your teen programmer as well as your fellow teens through fun polls and trivia. Follow the library's Instagram page so you don't miss out!
During a fundraising party at the historic, maybe haunted, Devonshire Manor, a body is found. Whodunnit? Register to attend this murder mystery party at the library, and you will be assigned a character. Then try to solve the mystery with the other guests. [more]
Contactless Holds Pickup
Stay Safe with Contactless Pickup!
Place items on hold online or over the phone, and after you're notified that your holds are ready for pick up, head to Simpson Library! Give us a call at 717-766-0171 when you arrive, and we'll check out your items before bringing them out to a cart in the vestibule. Please have your library card number handy when you arrive to pick up your holds.
Programs for Adults, Teens, and Children
Most programs for children, tweens, and teens are meeting in-person this month.
Monday Night and Thursday Morning Book Clubs are reading this year's One Book, One Community selection, The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper by Phaedra Patrick.Tea & Stitches meets every Tuesday. Apple Users Group meets on March 24. Programs are offered through Zoom. If you are interested in participating, please email Joelene Diana at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In March, Mondays bring you Zoom Rhyme Time at 5:15 pm and Zoom Toddler Time at 6:00 pm, and we offer Zoom Story Time on Wednesdays at 10:15 am. Register and the Zoom link will be sent to you immediately. You can also sign up to have videos of these program emailed to you every week. We offer Zoom STEM Club on Tuesday, March 16. Don't forget about our weekly Take & Make activity bags! A new craft is ready every Saturday while supplies last.

Accio Zoom! Grab your capes and wands and give this Harry Potter Trivia a go. We will include questions from the books and movies. No spells allowed! WINgardium triviosa! Cheaters Never Prosper will host two sessions of this popular trivia topic. Space is limited to 25 sign-ups for each session, but everyone in your household can play under one sign-up. Please register onlinefor this event. Please register for just one session so everyone can play.
This year’s One Book, One Community regional campaign represents collaboration between 40 libraries in four counties: Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, and York and their community partners. Many individual libraries participate in surrounding Central PA counties. Everyone is welcome to read and discuss the book. This year's book is The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper by Phaedra Patrick. Share your thoughts about this book with the Monday Night or Thursday Morning Book Club.

The lobby display for March is created by members of The Cumberland Herb Society. The display features the many uses of herbs, including medicinal, cosmetic, culinary, and decorative. Items are from members’ personal tools, handicrafts, and collections.
