The Library Foundation’s annual Bling Bling Sale/Fundraiser is the last weekend of September.
After collecting thousands of pieces of used jewelry of every kind from our many generous donors, a group of hard-working volunteers have priced and sorted it to display in Meeting Room A of the Romeoville Branch for a three-day sale.
 
You will find costume jewelry, vintage, and fine jewelry including gold, sterling silver, and gemstones, as well as a collection of gently used evening bags and jewelry boxes. Most costume jewelry is priced at $1.00 to $2.00, and the fine jewelry is fairly priced for collectors and dealers.
Cash, credit, debit, ApplePay, and GooglePay are accepted.
 
The Preview Sale is Friday, September 25th from 1:00 to 6:00 pm, and there is an admission charge of $10.00 per adult (under 18 free).

The Sale continues on Saturday, September 26th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. No admission charge.
The last day is Sunday, September 27th from 12 noon to 2:00 pm. No admission charge.

Children's Book Donations Needed! 

We are always looking for donations of high quality materials. If we can use them in the library’s collections we will, otherwise the Friends of the Library will use them in one of their book sales. In certain circumstances you may even gain a tax benefit from this type of donation. You can drop these off at any of our 3 Branches.
