Discover Summer:
Tales with Tails
 
Join us on Seymour Library’s front lawn for a special outdoors Discover Summer series: Tales with Tails,
July 6 through August 14. 
 
 Programs will be announced weekly, every Tuesday, on the library's Facebook page and in our Email Newsletter.

Program registration for the final week of Discover Summer is now open. Keep reading for program highlights.

"Walking Stories" AT Monetzuma Wildlife Refuge
 
Join Seymour Library AT Montezuma Wildlife Refuge for this special program on Sunday, August 8 at 11 am. 
Families are invited to explore the nature trails while a Montezuma Wildlife Refuge representative reads nature-based stories aloud.
 
Please plan to meet at Montezuma Wildlife Refuge’s Visitor Center by 10:45 am on the day of the event. The visitor center is located at 3395 U.S. Route 20 East, Seneca Falls, NY, 13148.
 
Registration is required.

Tales on the Lawn
 
This series of outdoor storytimes is all about ANIMALS. Each storytime will include stories (tales with tails), songs, movement, activities, a craft, plus a bonus take and make craft kit.

"Exploring the Pond!"
Tuesday, August 10 at 11 am 
or Saturday, August 14 at 11 am 
 
Tales on the Lawn is designed for children 2-7, but all ages are welcome.

Summer Science

Discover science during this fun hands-on program. Each session will include a story, a science activity, and a bonus take and do science project.
 
Register now for: 
Balloon Helicopter Science
Wednesday, August 11 at 1 pm
or Saturday, August 14 at 1 pm
 
Summer Science is designed for ages
8-12.

Family Book & Movie Club

Read the book and then enjoy the movie! Each participating family will receive a copy of each week’s book to read together at home. Then join us at *The Carriage House Theater (203 Genesee St REAR, Auburn, NY 13021)
on Fridays at 6:30 pm to discuss the book and watch the film adaptation.
