We have received a mini-grant from the Mid-Hudson Library System which will allow us to offer a series of programs for seniors in Rosendale. The programs will take place at the Park Heights senior housing development and will be open to those who are 65 and over. Please see more information about the series below which will kick off with music by Big Joe Fitz.
Exploring nature can be the best free show in town with your library card! In addition to passes to Mohonk Preserve and all the NY State Parks, we now have sling bags you can borrow that include a pair of birding binoculars and a mini microscope. We have microscopes that you can mount to your smartphone to get a really close look at things.
Our trustee election and budget vote will take place on Thursday, September 1. Information about the budget and absentee ballot applications will be on the library’s website by August 10 and available at the library. There are three openings on the board and three candidates have turned in petitions to run for the board. Trustee Carl Welden is running for a new term. Justin Peone and Lauren Miller are each running for new four-year terms. Please come out and vote.
