Hello, and Happy Friday!

It's National Volunteer Week and we'd like to give a heartfelt shoutout to all of our dedicated volunteers!

From those pictured here to the many more who contribute on a daily basis, your collective impact is immeasurable! From the moments spent shelving books to the managing of the interlibrary loan holds, the planning and coordinating of the many 150th anniversary events, and to the meticulous work at the donation center to the warmth and welcome extended at the Chapter Two bookstore, your commitment to our library and our community shines bright! Additionally, we are grateful for the unwavering support of the Friends of the Library and the Board of Trustees

Each volunteer, whether mentioned here or contributing in other capacities, plays a vital role in enriching the library and advancing our mission.

Thank you to each and everyone of you for your time, your talents, and your passion!

Guessing Haiku

Wow! Our Guessing Haiku display has twenty-one haiku written by library users, and perhaps even more to come by the end of the month. Thanks to all who have contributed - we are in awe of your creativity!

Next time you amble by the display, see how many you can guess. We'll be impressed if you manage to guess them all!

You still have time to contribute and be entered into a prize drawing for gift cards to great local businesses. Pick up a packet at the library or visit our blog post. Entries due by May 1st.
