Greetings

This week, we come together to remember Ginny Sheldon, a cherished friend and volunteer who passed away suddenly this week. Her decades-long accomplishments on behalf of the Milne Public Library left an indelible mark on our library community. Her energy, dedication, and unwavering support were vital to our mission over the years. Many of you likely recognized her warm presence, often seen at the Friends of the Library distribution center or shuttling books to and from Chapter Two's bookstore, always eager to help. For those who had the privilege of working in any capacity with Ginny, her spirit and commitment to her work were truly inspiring, reflecting a lifetime devoted to enriching our library.

Our spirits are heavy as we come to terms with the fact that she will no longer be here, shining      her light on the countless book donations she lovingly received, organized, and placed into the      hands of eager readers. Ginny's impact was profound, and she will be deeply missed.

As we reflect on Ginny’s legacy, let us honor her memory by carrying forward the passion and        commitment she exemplified. We encourage everyone to take a moment to cherish her spirit in      your own way - whether through a quiet moment of remembrance or a small act of kindness in        her honor. Together, we can celebrate the incredible impact she had on our library and our              hearts. Thank you for joining us in remembering our dear friend. She will always hold a special      place in our community.

    With Warm Remembrance,

The David & Joyce Milne Public Library Staff
