Milne Mail: David & Joyce Milne Public Library, Weekly Newsletter
Friday, September 27th, 2024

Hello, and Happy Friday!

In a public library, the comings and goings of staff can profoundly impact our community. We’re excited to welcome back our Tech Intern Douglas, whose return to leading 1:1 Tech Time will provide invaluable support for patrons navigating the digital world. His unique talents and passion for helping others enrich our library family. Tech Time sessions are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; for more details, please refer to our events calendar. A heartfelt thank you to the Friends of the Library for making the return of this program possible!

As we celebrate Douglas’s return, we also take a moment to reflect on the upcoming departure of Jack, our Digital Resources Librarian. His contributions to the library have created lasting impacts within our community. While we’re sad to see him go, we are grateful for the moments we shared and the positive impact he made. These transitions may bring bittersweet emotions, but they remind us of the sense of community that makes our library a special place.
