Baby & Me Fridays 10:15-11:15 a.m. IN-PERSON The library is partnering with EarlyON to offer a special morning program for caregivers and babies. It’s the perfect opportunity to entertain your infant with specialized learning activities such as songs, rhymes, and stories while making friends with young families in the community. Participants will also be able to seek parental guidance and access resources from ECE experts. Registration with EarlyON is required. Age group – Birth to 12 months – parental/guardian supervision required

Music & StorytimeTuesdays 10:15-11:00 a.m. IN-PERSON Listen to your favourite books, sing tunes and play along with instruments. Children select picture books from the library collection before the program and then bring them to read; the number of books read depends on time. Miss Lesley has a variety of percussion instruments for the kids to play along with and join in. Ages 2-6 with parents or guardians Registration required.

Mad Science Program Wednesdays 10:30-11:30 a.m. IN-PERSON The Mad Science Program is a great place for kids to learn about the amazing world of science! The basis of the programs will be focusing on engaging kids in the day’s activity/experiment and teaching them some of the basic principles of science in an easy-to-understand format with a fun activity to provide a better understanding of the day’s topic. Kids can get messy with everything from soda geysers to magically floating ink. Note: Registration is encouraged but drop-in seats also available. Age group – 5+ (4 years & under parental supervision required)

Arts and Crafts CreationsThursdays 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. IN-PERSON Throughout the summer, children and youth will work with various materials to create unique art projects that they can take home to enjoy. The focus will be on using simple craft supplies, recycled materials and your imagination to explore larger themes that can be referenced from children’s books. Participants will walk away from these programs having experienced new and fun ways to explore art and be creative. Note: Registration preferred but drop-in seats also available. Pop-Up AdventuresSaturdays 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. IN-PERSON Every Saturday throughout the summer anticipate a variety of exciting pop-up program options ranging from Virtual Reality, Super Heroes, Scavenger Hunts and Teddy Bear Picnics. Performing Arts Tuesdays 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. IN-PERSON The performing arts club is a tween/teen group all about expressing yourself. The basis of the program will be focused on drama and theatre but we will also be looking at different performing arts like singing, playing music, and dancing. Skills will be developed over the course of 7 weeks culminating in a final performance. This is a no-pressure program, where anyone with an interest in performing arts can participate regardless of experience. Note: It is recommended that you sign up for all weeks as we will be building on skills learnt in previous weeks. Age group - 11+ Registration required
