Drag Queen Story Time
Friday, June 3 (PD Day)
2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

IN-PERSON A fabulous drag queen dramatically teaches us about diversity, reads books, and shares some tunes. Drag is an opportunity for all ages to reconsider the masks we are all forced to wear daily. Through dress-up, we help children see uniqueness without confusion or awkwardness. The drag queen population is frequently misrepresented, underrepresented or hidden by society. It shows children that anyone can dress in fun ways and be silly, serious or find a character that suits who they are. All are welcome, but any act of abuse will not be tolerated. Abuse is any verbal or physical threat such as swearing, shouting, or in appropriate behaviour. Ages 3+. Watch for updates and registration.
