Caturday Saturday, June 17 / 12:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Carbondale Public Library Celebrate all things cats at this feline-themed day at the Library. Join us for movies, crafts, trivia, and more! Learn about TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), how to do it safely and why it works. The presentation includes examples of traps and the opportunity to practice. The Trap-Neuter-Return presentation is geared to adults and would not be suitable for children. Registration is limited for this program as space is limited.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child NYC Bus Trip Wednesday, August 23 / 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. Abington Community Library Join us for a bus trip into New York City to see "Harry Potter & the Cursed Child." We will depart Clarks Summit at 9:00 A.M. for the 1:00 P.M. matinee performance and return to Clarks Summit by 9:00 .PM. Register in person at the Library. Payment in full must accompany registration. We will also have a limited number of seats on the bus available for those who want to enjoy a day in New York City without seeing the show. Bus Trip + Show $150 / Bus Trip without show is $55.A PA Forward® Initiative Promoting Social Literacy.

Craft Supply Swap Thursday, June 22 / 6:00 P.M. Albright Memorial Library Bring unused craft supplies to the Library to exchange them with fellow crafters and find something new to take home and try. Supplies for the swap can be dropped off at any library branch between June 12 and 22 in exchange for a ticket to attend the event. All remaining materials will be used for future library programs. Balloonity: Twisted Acts of Kindness Sunday, June 11 / 2:00 P.M. Lackawanna County Children’s Library Join the Library for this uplifting performance, led by balloon artist Mark Ghia, which tells stories using balloon sculptures and a touch of magic to illustrate that kindness is the key to great friendships. Each child will have the opportunity to make their own balloon sculpture. Father's Day Foam Bookmarks Thursday, June 15 / 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M North Pocono Public Library Children of all ages are invited to drop-in at the Library to make a hammer-shaped bookmark that they can give as a Father's Day gift. No registration is required to attend.

Electric City Flower Show Saturday, June 10 / 10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Everhart Museum To coincide with the Scranton Municipal Recreation Authority’s 2023 Electric City Flower Show in Nay Aug Park on Saturday, June 10, the Everhart Museum hosts a day of free admission from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and floral-themed activities from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Electric City Flower Show is a free community event from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. that features a juried flower competition among community participants as well as a variety of activities and vendors.
