Planting Small Succulent Pots

Evening News Anchor and Author John Boel

Thursday, December 7th

12:00-1:00 PM
Carnegie Library Center

John Boel, winner of 102 Emmys and 15 Murrows, has devoted much of his life to storytelling. He stays busy anchoring the evening newscasts on WAVE-TV and investigative reporting. And, in his free time, he fishes and writes. His first book, On the News...In the News, published in 2011, delves into his powerful and intensely painful journey from the public shame of two high-profile DUI arrests through recovery and self-discovery, and it spent three months on the Louisville best-seller list. His second book, Cast Away: Five Generations of Family Fish Stories, was released in August with rave reviews.

If you are looking for the perfect gift this holiday season for the fisherman or woman in your life, you don’t want to miss this event. Bring your lunch and spend your lunch hour with John Boel!
