September Display: Local History
Along Route 1 : Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts
by Susan Mara Bregman

"A combination of historic gravity and wonderfully kitschy roadside attractions. New England road trippers will encounter roller coasters and candlepin bowling, lobster rolls and homemade pie, colonial-era taverns and granite fortifications."
Covered Bridges of New Hampshire
by Kim Varney Chandler

"An engaging and well-illustrated history of the covered bridges in New Hampshire, featuring historical photos of each bridge paired with color images. These covered bridges are an integral part of the fabric of New Hampshire’s history, and each bridge has its own story to tell."
