Hello READERS:
The Wade Creek Park expansion behind the library is now open for walking and enjoying the stream's tranquil atmosphere. Seeing our new park brings to mind public parks and their essential place in modern life. A new book, City Parks: a stroll around the world’s most beautiful public spaces by Christopher Beanland, (released May 2) is “a visually stunning and beautifully written |

celebration of park life around the world.” If you love parks, check out this title, which will be added to our collection this week. By the way, The City of Estacada will host a Wade Creek Park Grand Opening celebration on Sunday, June 4, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., open to all.
