A beginner course in American Sign Language presented by ASL Services. Acquire the basics useful in communicating with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in your community. These ASL classes are taught by Deaf instructors; students will learn to carry on an everyday conversation with Deaf individuals. Role playing and games designed to teach basic signs are used as tools. By the end of class some of the skills you will learn are: manual alphabet, numbers, introducing yourself, facial expressions, talking about family, and more. Registration required. |

Un curso para principiantes en lenguaje de señas americano presentado por ASL Services. Adquiera los conceptos básicos útiles para comunicarse con las personas sordas y con problemas de audición en su comunidad. Estas clases de ASL son impartidas por instructores sordos; los estudiantes aprenderán a mantener una conversación cotidiana con personas sordas. Se utilizan como herramientas juegos de rol y juegos diseñados para enseñar signos básicos. Al final de la clase, algunas de las habilidades que aprenderá son: alfabeto manual, números, presentarse, expresiones faciales, hablar sobre la familia y más. Se requiere registro.
