Meet World War II Veteran Andrew "Tim" Kiniry

Andrew "Tim" Kiniry, who fought in World War II, will be at the library to talk about his experiences during the war. Tim is 101 years old. He was born in Philadelphia on November 15, 1921. He was drafted into the United States Army on August 22, 1942. He served with the 45th Evacuation Hospital. As a medic, he was one of the first to arrive at Buchenwald, one of the largest concentration camps in Germany. This program will be held in our adult meeting room.
