Work together to make a comic book in under 2 hours! We'll provide supplies, a workspace, an instructor for guidance, and some ideas to get you started. The work of you and your fellow students completed will be compiled into a printed booklet that you can take home that afternoon! This program will be held in person in the library meeting room. Open to adult cardholders only. Advance registration is required.

Adult Crafting: Make Your Own Dog Toy!

Join us and learn how to make your own dog (or cat) toy with old t-shirts! You can bring your own old t-shirts, or use some of ours. And if you finish making one, you can make another. There's no limit to how many you can make! You can keep one, and donate one. Or donate both. Donations will be given to needy dogs/cats at Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center. Non Fiction Addiction: "The Good Nurse" by Charles Graeber

Be Kind to Animals

Join us in the adult meeting room to learn how to be kind to animals. We will have speakers from Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center and the Humane Society. Learn more about adoption, what puppy mills are and why they are bad, and more! Also, you will get to meet some adoptable dogs. This program is open to all ages. Sounds of Scotland- Bagpipe Demonstration at the Library

Computer Class: Introduction to Computer Hardware

Learn the ins and outs of your computer, literally, in this virtual demonstration. We will dismantle and explain the components of a computer, how to perform basic repair and upgrades, and reassemble a rig. Questions encouraged. Teen Art Club

Explore your interest in art with friends. Participants will have time, space, and materials to create. This monthly club will be led by a Teen Advisory Board member and is meant to allow teens to explore all things ART! Come check it out and have fun while exploring favorite artistic mediums and hanging out with like-minded friends. Meetings include discussions, art challenges, and time for participants to work on individual projects, collaborate with fellow members, or simply hang out while incubating their creative genius.

Countdown To Kindergarten

Children who are entering kindergarten in September of 2023 are invited to join us to help get ready on the first Thursday of the month (1/5) at 1:30-2:15 pm, in the Story Hour Room. Through stories and activities, this monthly program will focus on building school readiness skills and independence. Children will work on developing fine motor skills, spatial skills and problem-solving skills, build their vocabulary, use their imagination, improve letter recognition and counting skills, and grow narrative comprehension. We will work on writing, using scissors, going over the calendar, and taking turns!
