Nerf Night is September 1 Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to attend Nerf Night from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1. Teens should start to assemble in the Main Library auditorium at 5:15 p.m. for the after-hours event. Participants may bring in their own Nerf weapons or use some provided by the library. Get Crafty September 20 Creativity will be in bloom at Rodman Public Library on Tuesday, September 20, when teens take part in a fall craft program. From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. teens, ages 12-18, will have the opportunity to work on four different projects, including a 3-D paper pumpkin, a paper quilling fall tree, a woodland animal plastic bottle planter, and a string art piece using their initial. New Teen D and D Opportunities at RPL Teens, 12-18, can sign up to participate in an ongoing series of "one-shot" Dungeons and Dragons missions every month based on the Candlekeep Mysteries sourcebook. The first one will be Monday, September 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Players do not have to play consistently each month to participate and "advance" their character through the campaign. Each "mission" will be a standalone adventure.

RPL to Screen Hocus Pocus With the planned release of Hocus Pocus 2 at the end of September, Rodman Public Library is getting into the Halloween spirit a little early this year with an interactive movie event when it screens the original 1993 American fantasy comedy Hocus Pocus at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26 on the big screen in the Main Auditorium.

One of Us is Lying is September Book Club Selection Rodman Public Library invites all teens who love to read to join the Teen Book Club. The group meets on the third Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the conference room at the Main Library. Led by Jaime Gross, the next meeting will be on Monday, September 19, and the selected title will be One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus. Teen Writing Teens who have an interest in writing are encouraged to join Rodman Public Library for the Teen Writing Club that meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 3:30 p.m. at the Main Library. The next sessions are planned for September 14 and September 28. Have fun meeting with your fellow teen writers to exchange ideas, hone your skills and share your work, if desired. Teen Anime Club All teens, ages 12-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library on select Tuesdays of each month for Teen Anime Club. The next session will be Tuesday, September 27 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Teens will have the chance to pick their favorite episodes to be shown on RPL's big screen.
