Summer Reading Kicks Off May 31
Rodman Public Library invites patrons of all ages to dive into the Oceans of Possibilities summer reading program.
The program, which will run through July 30, will kick off on Tuesday, May 31 when a section of Rodman Public Library -- the auditorium, the gallery and the children's programming room -- will be transformed into a nine-hole, ocean-themed mini-golf course for one day. |
Celebrate Star Wars with Revenge of the Fifth Rodman Public Library is the place to be for all teenage Star Wars fans on Thursday, May 5. Teens, ages 12-18, will have the opportunity to celebrate the popular movie franchise during Revenge of the Fifth, a series of fun activities from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. |

Sign up for Nerf Night Now
Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to attend
Nerf Night from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12. Teens should start to assemble at 5:15 p.m. for the after-hours event. Participants may bring in their own Nerf weapons or use some provided by the library. The library will also provide Nerf darts. Registration is required. |

Sanctuary is Teen Book Club Selection Rodman Public Library invites all teens who love to read to join the Teen Book Club. The group meets on the third Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the conference room at the Main Library. The next meeting will be on Monday, May 16, and the selected title will be Sanctuary by Caryn Lix. Teen Writing Teens who have an interest in writing are encouraged to join Rodman Public Library for the Teen Writing Club that meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 3:30 p.m. at the Main Library. The next sessions are planned for May 11 and May 25. Have fun meeting with your fellow teen writers to exchange ideas, hone your skills and share your work, if desired. No registration is required. Anime Club
All teens, ages 12-18, are invited
to Rodman Public Library on select Tuesdays each month for Teen Anime Club. The next session will be Tuesday, May 24 at 3:00 p.m. Teens will have the chance to pick their favorite episodes to be shown on RPL's big screen. No registration required.
