July is going to be busy at the Library As we make our way through July, we have some exciting updates to share with you. First, please note that our library will be closed on Thursday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day. We hope you'll enjoy the holiday with family and friends, perhaps with a good book in hand from our collection. While we're on the subject of reading, we're thrilled to remind you that summer reading isn't just for kids! Our adult summer reading program is in full swing, offering a fantastic opportunity for grown-ups to indulge in literary adventures, discover new authors, and perhaps win some exciting prizes along the way. Whether you're lounging by the pool, relaxing in your backyard, or escaping the heat indoors, there's no better time to lose yourself in a great book. So grab your library card, peruse our shelves (or digital collection), and join us in celebrating the joy of reading this summer. Stay tuned for more details on our adult summer reading events and activities in the following sections of this newsletter. Happy Reading, Los Gatos Library Staff

Join us in celebrating Disability Pride Month this July! Today and every day, we celebrate disability pride. Our disabilities are an integral part of who we are, shaping our experiences, perspectives, and contributions to the world. Let's recognize and honor the diverse abilities within our community. As we celebrate our pride, let's continue creating a more accessible world. Universal design benefits everyone, not just those with disabilities. Together, we can create spaces, technologies, and policies that welcome all abilities. To view these and other books go to the Los Gatos Library Catalog.
