Outdoor Preschool Storytimes Ludington: Tues, Wed, Thurs at 10 am Scottville: Fridays at 10 am Families are invited to attend Story time at 10:00 am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Ludington and Friday in Scottville for fun, rhymes, songs, dancing and early literacy learning. Fine motor skills are particularly important for pre-writing, so our librarians have put together a take-home kit with a craft inside, to match our theme for the week! Last week (September 28-October 1) was all about apples, with two great crafts thanks to Miss Emily and Miss Meranda. Come and see what we're making today!

Stem Storytime The first full week of the month is STEM Story time - focusing on science, technology, engineering and math skills, these books will get your family thinking and ready for experimentation! The week of October 5-8 is all about maps: how do you know where you are, or where you are going? A map is the perfect way to tell! Crafts for this week will include a compass to make at home and some things to help you map your home, neighborhood, or imagination!

Fun Family Fridays Fun Family Friday activity bags are still available at the Ludington and Scottville libraries, every Friday from 11-3. The first Friday of the month features the Ludington Area Center for the Arts' crEATivity bag - look inside for a wonderful art experience, such as watercolor painting, wire sculpture, and more! On the same day, we feature an Adult craft or activity - in October, make a bean-bag pumpkin decoration for autumn. Teens, we aren't leaving you out! On the third Friday, come and grab a Teen activity bag too.
