W.A.F.F.L.E.S. Club
What do you do in the Waffles Club? You don't eat waffles (not yet), but you do write! The Writing Association For Fun Loving Enthusiastic Students (yes, that's WAFFLES!) gets together twice a month and works on writing skills and storytelling. Join in and work on responding to writing prompts, have some quiet writing time, and have the opportunity to share your work (or not). At their last gathering, the Waffles Club had the writing prompt to 'Write a story that involves a banana, sneakers, siblings, and a magical garden." The WAFFLES participants let their imaginations run wild! Drop in and join in the fun when you can. No commitment is required. This group is geared to 8-12 year-olds. For more information, write Morgan at morgan.esterhuizen@radfordva.gov.
