Tech Help by AppointmentTuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 AM, 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM and Wednesdays at 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM Do you need help getting around your laptop or tablet? Would you like to set up an email account? Do you want to download an eBook? Need help searching for and applying for jobs? Tech help appointments are now available. Appointments last up to 1 hour. Registration is required. Masks are required. This program is supported with federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds allocated to the New York State Library by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

Winter Blues Throughout January & February Pick up a Salina Library Winter Blues loyalty card and have it punched each time you stop in from 1/3/23 to 2/25/23. Fill the card and get a small prize plus the change to win a Mrs. Fields Polar Bear Tower. Also available is the Winter Blues raffle basket; tickets are $1 each for this one. Winners will be announced on 2/27/23. For adults 18+

Art Exhibit Throughout January & February View the art of Janet Myrto Richards on exhibit in Salina Library throughout January and February. All pieces are hand drawn with various pens and pencils.

Fika: The Swedish Coffee Break Wednesdays at 3:00 pm Make time to pause and refresh, to socialize and energize. Meet new people or bring along a friend. Refreshments are available for a donation or you can bring your own.

Crochet Afghan 2023 Tuesday, January 3 at 6:00 pm Crochet a beautiful textured afghan throughout 2023. Learn the first part in January, do a bit of homework, then add to it each month of the year. Bring an I hook, scissors, and a yarn needle. For adults 18+. Registration is required.

Booktown: Snow Monday, January 30 at 4:00 pm A gathering for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We'll read and discuss books; January's topic is Snow. Bring your own books on the monthly topic or books will be available. Booktown is a fun way to make friends in your community and work on your reading and listening skills. Registration is required as space is limited; each person who will be in the room must register. Masks are required. For adults 18+ accompanied by a friend or family member.

Early Learners Story Time Wednesdays, 11:00 AM – January 4, 11, 18, & 25 Get your child ready for school! With stories, rhymes, songs, and crafts, your child will learn important early literacy and social skills in an environment suited to their developmental needs. No registration required. We will be meeting in our community room, following COVID precautions. For children ages 2-4 years old, with accompanying adult. Feel free to pick up a monthly Storytime at Home Kit for coloring pages, a craft, sticker, as well as songs and rhymes to join along with Miss Monica -- or create your own storytime -- from home!
