Find Your Voice this summer at Your Library!

Our voices have power. We use our voices to share stories, express ourselves, and spark change. Our voices include not only the sounds we make, but the words we write, the art we create, the movements we perform, and the actions we take each day to impact our world. 

Our Summer Library Program offers programs, prize drawings, and more for all ages!

Beanstack

Open to Kids, Teens, & Adults!

Participate on Beanstack online or the Beanstack app. Track reading and log activities to earn books, coupons, and tickets for prize drawings. Paper logs are available in the Summer Reading Room upon request.

Beanstack Tandem

Link your school and library Beanstack profiles so logged reading counts at the library too.  Don’t have a library Beanstack account? Automatically
create one!   

  1. Sign in to your school account on a computer (not the app).

  2. Select the Link Profile button.

  3. Select the Oconomowoc Public Library and log in.

Library programs, events, and activities are free and open to the public, but some may require registration. A waiting list is available if registration is full.

FAMILY (ALL AGES)

Young People, Big Voices

Mondays • July 10-August 5

Each Monday, we will hide a picture of a young activist somewhere in the children’s area. Kids who find it can fill out a slip available in the Summer Reading Room with the name of the activist and t-shirt size.

Join the Library and Hike It Baby as we take a summer hike at Harnischfeger Park, ending with a fun storytime.

Design and sew softie pals with our Quilting Workshop's help! Come for the fun, and leave with a new friend. Both programs are identical, please only register for one of the dates.

Would you like to learn how to make a California roll? We'll bring sushi ingredients to you! Learn the history of sushi with Chef Jenny Lee of Perilla Kitchen.
