Griffin Buddies

Register by June 10

Welcome to Griffin Buddies! Pair up your Grifflet (emerging reader) with a Big Griff (teen volunteer) to practice reading skills with lots of smiles and encouragement along the way. Each pair will set their own reading goals, which will count toward earning badges and prizes on Beanstack.

School is out, and summer is here, so come celebrate at the Library and get signed up for the reading program! Bring the whole family for free cotton candy, lawn games, and fun inflatables!

Thursday, June 13 • 2-3 pm

Join Ms. Kim and her Amazing Animals for an interactive live animal show that educates and entertains. Participants will get a chance to hold and touch some of their favorite critters.

Bollywood Groove with Ajanta

Thursday, June 20 • 2-3 pm

Embark on a magical journey of India! In this lively and interactive presentation, we'll explore the vibrant dances of various Indian regions and discover the fascinating tales of the people who live there. Get ready to dance, learn, and celebrate together!

Drop in to visit with and learn about Loki! Bring a blanket or beach towel to sit on the Library lawn to learn some fun facts about Loki and bearded dragons.

Family Math Night with Peg + Cat

Monday, June 24 • 6-7 pm

Math time = fun time with PBS characters Peg + Cat! Each evening will include a light meal, special community guests, and hands-on fun. Best for ages 3-6. Special thanks to PBS Wisconsin Education for funding this event.

At-Home Mystery: The Lost Campsite

Friday, June 28-July 8

After driving all day, you family has finally arrived at the campground, but all of a sudden, the ink on your map has started to change! You'll need to solve the clues and decode the puzzles to find your campsite!

Visit the Reference Desk to pick up your family packet of clues and suspects, available Friday, June 28-Monday, July 8. Solve the mystery and return to the Reference Desk by Friday, July 12 to enter to win the game Camping with Sasquatch and read the solution. Recommended for ages 8+ years.

Join us for a fun introduction to yoga for little ones and their caregivers. We will learn some beginner poses, play games, and use music to connect with our bodies! Best for ages 2 to 5 with a caregiver.

Camp Cryptid - Session 1

Bigfoot! Mothman! Nessie! This Library summer "camp" is a unique blend of science projects, crafts, games, snacks, and more as we adventure into the unknown worlds of mysterious creatures. 

Note: This event runs as a 3-session series in June and again in July. The June and July sessions will be the same, so please only register for one month's sessions, either June OR July. Only one registration per person for all three events in the series.
