Join us for the Friends annual meeting to learn how you can help support the Library. Volunteering, publicity, and fundraising opportunities will be discussed. We hope to see you there! The public is welcome and you can become a Friends member at the meeting.

Celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month this September with OPL! Whether you're looking to enhance your skills, find valuable information, or connect with fellow avid readers, a library card unlocks a world of possibilities. 
One library card, 24 libraries! Your CAFÉ library card perk gives you access to all libraries in the Bridges Library System! From pages to possibilities – use your library card for learning, entertainment, and adventure.

Programs & Events

Library programs, events, and activities are free and open to the public, but some may require registration. A waiting list is available if registration is full.

    Introduction to Wood Carving

Have you ever been curious about the relaxing and rewarding hobby of wood carving? Join us for a presentation by the Lake Country Carvers as they give an overview of tools used for carving, best wood to carve, understanding wood grain, basic cuts used, different styles of carving, safety and learning resources. This class is a prerequisite for Wood Carving 101 for Beginners on September 10.

Learn from the Lake Country Carvers! Designed for new carvers or those who used to carve and need a refresher, mentor carvers will assist students as they create their own take home carving! Wood, a safety glove and two carving tools are provided for use by the students in the class.

Join Holly and Joey, the hosts of the Wisconsin Gardener Radio Show and learn about the Basics of Canning!

Joey and Holly Baird are in their 8th season of The gardening with Joey and Holly Radio show . The show in 2024 airs weekly on 18 different radio stations, where they teach about growing in the ground, raised beds, straw bales, containers and indoor herbs, from seed starting to canning.
