FEBRUARY 2022

STAFF CHANGES
Their names and faces are the same but their roles on the Library Team have changed.
Lissa Radder started at the Library in 2012 as the Administrative Assistant. Over the past 10 years she's transformed the Library's online presence and marketing reach and, this past fall, her position was changed to Marketing, Communications, and Adult Program Coordinator.

Kelsey Butterfield joined the Library team in late 2019 as the Circulation Supervisor. Over the past two years she's tackled many projects to improve Library services. She will keep the momentum going in her new role as the Head of Reference & Cataloging.
 HEADS UP!
On Friday, February 11, staff will be working on some sections of the Children's area.
As always, please visit the Reference Desk for help. Library staff are investing time now so you can benefit later, with improved services, faster checkouts, and enhanced security.

The Library building will be closed on Friday, March 18. Online resources are always available.

SmACK
What is SmACK? SmACK stands for Smart, Awesome, Cool Kids at the Library! It's an after-school meetup for active kids ages 8-11 who want to be involved at the Library and in their community. SmACK participants will meet once a month with Ms. Caitlin and teen mentors from the Library's Teen Advisory Board. Meetups will include snacks, leadership and teamwork activities, thoughtful discussions, and brainstorming ideas for middle grade events at the Library. Learn more.
