Welcome to the LTPL Grows Newsletter, where we share about gardening and sustainable living with a focus on our Michigan growing season. This issue finds us in early January. Ahhh, January: the month of perfect gardens. Never more than now is our garden the stuff of dreams: perfect weather, just the right amount of rain, and plants that supply bushels of produce, undaunted by pests or disease. Seed catalogs arrive in our mailbox, and we might have a little bit of extra time to read those gardening books and magazines we didn’t get a chance to read during the gardening season.
