The Friends of the Lyon Township Public Library Book Sale is back this week on Thursday, May 19 through Sunday, May 22!
 
Drop by the Lyon Township Public Library to browse the Friends of LTPL Book Sale, which takes place over four days. Gently used books, DVDs, and audiobooks are available at low prices. Find something for yourself, family, or friends! All proceeds go toward library events, collections, and special projects for our community to enjoy.

Friday, May 20, 10am-4:30pm
Saturday, May 21, 10am-4:30pm
Sunday, May 22, 12pm-3:30pm

Are you interested in how you can support the Lyon Township Public Library? We are looking for volunteers to help set up, run and take down our Friends of the Library Book Sale from Thursday, May 19 through Sunday, May 22. Interested in organizing the sale and seeing items before anyone else? Interested in selling materials to our customers? Interested in taking down the sale and seeing what's left? We have a volunteer opportunity for you! Come in to the library to sign up, or sign up virtually here:
 
 
Do you love books, reading, and libraries? Consider joining the Friends of the Lyon Township Public Library as a volunteer and help organize donations, setup for book sales throughout the year, and plan and manage other special events to support the library!

This summer, when you join LTPL's Summer Reading Challenge, you can read, attend events, complete activities, earn points, and even win tons of cool prizes! Registration begins on June 1, with activities officially kicking off on June 18 to coincide with the end of school. Summer Reading concludes on August 31, 2022. Keep a look out this June so you can register yourself and your family members and start participating!

On the first, third, and fifth Thursdays of each month, we host Teen Game Nights for grades 6-12. Teens from Clinton-Macomb, Fraser, Holly, Ionia, Lyon Twp, and Milan Libraries meet virtually to play games together online. We meet at 6:30pm on Zoom and all log into BoardGameArena to play. You'll need to create a free BoardGameArena account. Games are chosen based on whatever attendees want to play! Favorites include Just Desserts, Sushi Go, Incan Gold, Coup, and others.
