Amy Lynn Green, guest speaker Our Writing Program to Launch Soon! Join us November 1st and November 8th for two novel writing programs at the Minden Main Branch! Monday, November 1st, at 5:00 PM, Webster Parish Libraries will host Amy Lynn Green via Zoom for Novel Writing 101. Her debut novel, Things We Didn’t Say, was a finalist for a 2021 Minnesota Book Award and a Carol Award. Then Monday, November 8th, at 5:00 PM, Louisiana authors Liz Talley and Phylis Caskey will present Goal, Motivation, and Conflict, necessary elements of novel writing! Liz Talley’s latest novel is Adulting, and she is the author of thirty heartwarming stories of love and laughter. A finalist in both the Golden Heart and Rita Awards, she’s garnered number one spots on Amazon Romance lists and appeared on the USA Today Bestsellers list. Phylis Caskey is the author of Skinny Dipping in Cane River, a retro mystery novel set in her home state of Louisiana. She has recently released Windrush, The Last of the Scythians, on Amazon’s new platform, Vella, where it has quickly become a crowd favorite in the historical and action/adventure categories.
