Clini Community Room Local author, photographer, educator, historian and publisher Kate Anderson will visit the APL to read from and discuss her latest book Murder at the Alma Mater. Set locally at the Elm College, bestselling author Nora Phillips visits her alma mater to break through a bad case of writer's block. While back on campus, she starts investigating a popular campus legend. An affair, plenty of intrigue, and a decades-long coverup take place, and Nora finds herself immersed in a possible crime that just might repeat itself! Katherine Anderson is the award-winning author of two historic mysteries, Hospital Hill and Shadows in the Ward. For many years Kate has worked to painstakingly research and document the insane asylums and state schools in New England, publishing nonfiction works and lecturing on the history of mental illness. Books will be available for purchase and signing at this event. Please register.
