October Artist Fred LeBlanc
This is Windjamming


We are pleased to exhibit the work of South Hadley photographer Fred LeBlanc. This exhibit documents Maine’s historic windjammer fleet.
 
Fred has worked as a professional, commercial, corporate and editorial photographer for over thirty years. His award-winning photos have been in museums, libraries and juried art shows. They have been published on calendars, posters, postcards and books. Fred's work will be on display in the gallery space on the main level of the library until October 31. 
 
October Artist Ceil Rossi
From Field to Fine Art: Carefree Gourd Gallery


Welcome back to artist Ceil Rossi. Ceil creates beautiful art on hard-shell gourds by wood burning, painting, carving, polishing and embellishing these 3-dimensional art forms. 
 
Ceil learned this beautiful form of art while living in the Southwestern U.S. and she has become a master at using what’s known as natures pottery to create her own beautiful pieces of art. Please find her exhibit in the glass cases on the main level of the library throughout the month of October.
