American Sign Language Wednesdays in November 6:00 -6:45p beginning November 3rd We are partnering with Signing Basics, LLC to offer our community an introduction to American Sign Language. The virtual classes will feature a live ASL instructor that will teach ASL basics like the manual alphabet, greetings, days of the week, foods and snacks and basic sentence structure to bring together ASL elements. Please plan on attending each session as lessons build on previous week’s lessons. Participants are also asked to join the Zoom meeting with cameras on. ASL is a visual language and instructors and students benefit from the ability to see each other Space is limited to the first 20 registrants. Students will be sent a recurring Zoom link to use for each session. Class handouts will also be included. Follow this link to register for Week One. Bizarre Bazaar is Back... and Crafterpalooza Too! Donation Days: November 1-15 Shopping Day: November 20, 10:00A-3:00p Do you have unused cards, holiday decorations or craft supplies that you don't want? Bring them to the Agawam Library located UPSTAIRS in the Senior Center. Then, come shopping to find something new! Donated items must come from a non-smoking home and be clean and in working condition. Please bring items in original packaging or clear, zippered bags. Not sure what to donate? Here are some examples: ornaments, tree skirts, wreaths, menorahs, gift bags and bows, cookie cutters, collectibles, yarn, scrapbooking supplies, crafting kits, etc. Please note that you do not have to donate to come shopping. Home Delivery Service The Library is pleased to offer free Home Delivery of library materials to Agawam and Feeding Hills residents who cannot make it to the Library due to illness, injury, transportation difficulties, or any other mobility obstacles. We will arrange to have items delivered to and picked up from your home by staff members or trained volunteers.
