Board Game Night Wednesday, December 6th at 6:30PM Judith Clini Community Room Celebrate the joys of a good old game night with board games and snacks! We'll have games on hand like Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Munchkin, and more - but feel free to bring your own! There will be multiple tables for multiple games, so bring a friend or meet some like-minded gamers at the event. Light refreshments like cookies, cupcakes, and juices will be available. This is a drop in program for adults ages 18+ and no registration is necessary.

Festival of Trees Submissions accepted: Nov. 16th - Dec. 15th
Teams, co-workers, classrooms and individuals are invited to make a tree from recycled or upcycled materials and submit as part of the library’s Festival of Trees! Trees will be on display throughout the library until January 5th. Patrons who submitted trees and the general public are invited to one of two Festival Fun Nights to tour the trees throughout the library and participate in fun, holiday activities. Reception & Fun Night for Families Monday, December 18th at 6:30PM Families with children are invited to attend a Fun Night in the Children's Room for family crafts, games and light refreshments! This is a drop-in event. Reception & Fun Night for Adults Tuesday, December 18th at 6:30PM Adults are invited to join us for a Festival of Trees Fun Night in the Clini Community Room. Activities will include a scavenger hunt, sugar cookie-decorating, an adult craft and a quick round of trivia! This is a drop-in event.

The Boston Tea Party: 250 Years Later Saturday, December 16th at 2PM Virtual Event in collaboration with Tewksbury Library The story of tea has always been infused with intrigue, particularly when it became a flash point for tensions between England and Colonial America. On the 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party (December 16, 1773), learn about the brewing political problems tea presented in its history as well as the history of the Tea Party's most famous partiers (and phonies)!

Afternoon Tea & Trivia
Wednesday, December 20th at 2:30PM Judith Clini Community Room Get ready to have your wits tested with a mix of general knowledge and holiday/winter-themed trivia. Adults will play one round of Jeopardy-style trivia and one round of pub style trivia. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams and tea and refreshments will be served.

Library Tech Class: Getting Started with Beanstack
Wednesday, December 20th at 6:30PM Tuesday, December 26th at 10AM Judith Clini Community Room Winter is the perfect time to curl up and read, and if you're interested in keeping track of what you've been reading, come learn about Beanstack! We at the library also use Beanstack for our summer reading program, and we'll use it for our upcoming winter reading challenge as well! Outside of challenges, you can also use Beanstack to record what and how often you are reading. Please bring whichever mobile device you are most comfortable using!
