October @ FCPL is all treats, no tricks!

It's officially fall in Forsyth County and your library is rolling out the orange carpet in celebration of all things October!

How about a sunset Bat Walk, live snakes, slimy science, creepy crafts, and of course, our beloved Trick-or-Treat storytimes to get the pumpkin rolling?

Not spooky enough for you? Perhaps a presentation about the Historic Murders of Forsyth County is more your cup of arsenic-flavored tea.

We also have blood drives at all our locations this month, but we do that every month. I promise it has nothing to do with the Cumming Library's love of Bram Stoker.

A cookbook about garlic wouldn't be a bad idea though, just in case.

LIBRARY NEWS

Denmark Library Update

We’re still in the site development phase of the Denmark Library which officially broke ground July 27 on Fowler Road near Denmark High School.

The grading of the building pad is now finished and we are turning our attention to the grading of the parking lot and preparing the site for the storm drain, sanitary sewer, and underground utilities.
