So, this happened at the Library yesterday.
What is it?
It's happiness. Pure, uncontained joy.
Whether it's finding a new favorite book, marveling at the jaw-dropping adventure-themed summer reading décor, laughing uncontrollably at one of our top-tier summer performers, or reaching that next summer reading challenge milestone, it's no wonder so many people call FoCo Library their "happy place" this time of year.
Want to get in on the fun? Here are four easy ways to stay informed about all the wonderful things happening this summer at your library:
1. Read this newsletter. Look at you already checking things off your list! You're on a roll. Keep going!
2. Visit your library. Every Forsyth County Public Library has at least one big bulletin board where we share information about upcoming activities and events. Go ahead and take a picture of it. (It makes our day to see people enjoying our bulletin boards!)
3. Grab a Summer Reading Fun Adventure Guide!
Each library has a paper guide to highlight programs at that particular library this summer. These branch-specific guides feature programs for each age group: kids, teens, and adults. Pick one up at your favorite library and plan out your whole summer! (Also available online.)
4. Follow FoCo Library on social media!
Social media is another way to stay in the know about what's happening at your library this summer (and beyond). Pro tip: the more you interact with us on social media, the more we will appear in your feeds. So please like, follow, love, laugh, comment, tag, and/or mention @FoCoLibrary to let your platform of choice know you value your library and want to see more of our posts!
Wishing you a June filled with sunny days, great books, and joyful library visits.
Happy reading!

Denmark Library Update
In spite of all the rain we had in May, the construction of the Denmark Library is still moving along right on schedule. The exterior walls and many of the windows have been installed, exterior waterproofing has been added, the interior framing has begun, and all electrical infrastructure was completed to make way for roofing to be installed.
See additional photos, details, and a time-lapse construction video on the Denmark Library page of our website.
