Join Smithgall Woods as they teach us about the fascinating ways of birds. We'll learn about our feathered friends through activities such as pretending to be birds in search of food and a demonstration on how both predators and prey use camouflage as a survival adaptation.
Recommended for kids ages 4–9, but all ages are welcome.
Travel back in time and join us as the Atlanta Historic Dancers perform researched, period correct dances while modeling the latest fashions of the Victorian era. Wear your dancing shoes and bring your family! We will be learning the Grand March, a reel, and the Waltz. Performers will also demonstrate the Quadrille. Feel free to come in period attire.

Using a gaming format, students will solve puzzles and other challenges while simultaneously learning about key principles of cybersecurity based on COMPTIA SEC+l, an industry standard certification, like encryption, password protection, and more. This teen-led program created by students at Alliance Academy is a great way to hang out with friends, meet new people, and use your online skills to win the race.

Make meaningful connections with local seniors in our community. Join us at the Oaks at Hampton to spend quality time with the residents, participate in fun activities, and create a craft to exchange! This program is intended for children ages 5 and up. No registration is required.
This program will take place offsite at The Oaks at Hampton: 5610 Hampton Park Drive, Cumming 30041.
Calling all dragon lovers! Can't get enough of the "Wings of Fire" series? Then head on over to the Post Road Library for fantastically fun games, crafts, and activities.

Love graphic novels or manga? Kyle Puttkammer, author and illustrator of the "Hero Cats" series and owner of local comic shop Galactic Quest, will talk about the process of creating comics. We will talk, write, and draw together in this interactive class.
The earlier class is designed for children age 8–11 and the later class is for teens in grades 6–12.
