What's So Funny This Summer @ FCPL?!
|
We're a couple of weeks into summer break 2022 and one thing is abundantly clear: SUMMER IS BACK @ FCPL and it's better than ever! "I haven't laughed this hard in years," beamed one patron after a Summer Reading Kickoff Event earlier this month. "This is the most fun I have had in a long time," another patron told us after attending a free art workshop for adults. Summer at FCPL is not all laughs though. We're also getting quite a few "oohs" and "ahhs" and at least one "totes adorbs." With the breathtaking ocean-themed decorations at each library, the captivating programs we provide for all ages, and our fabulous reading incentive program, it's no wonder so many people are calling FCPL their "happy place" this summer. Want to get in on all the fun? Here are five easy ways to stay informed about all the wonderful things happening this summer @ FCPL: 1. Visit Your Library! Every Forsyth County Public Library has at least one big bulletin board where we advertise upcoming activities and programs. Many patrons take photos of our bulletin boards to refer to throughout the month.

2. Grab a Summer Program Guide! Each Forsyth County Public Library has a paper guide to highlight programs at that particular library this summer. These branch-specific guides feature programs for each age group: kids, teens, and adults. Pick one up at your favorite library and plan out your whole summer!

3. Sign Up for Our Weekly Program Planner! Want a weekly reminder about upcoming events? Subscribe to our Weekly Program Planner and we'll send you an email every Thursday with featured programs for the weekend and week ahead. Make sure you verify your email address when you subscribe to complete the subscription process. 4. Follow Us on Social Media! Social media is another way to stay in the know about what's happening @ FCPL this summer (and beyond). Pro tip: the more you interact with us on social media, the more we will appear in your feeds. So please like, follow, love, laugh, comment, tag, and/or mention @forsythpl to let your platform of choice know you value your library and want to see more of our posts! 5. Look through our online events calendar to see ALL our summer programs! Or filter programs by date, location, age group, or event type for a more personalized view.
