Learn about the special matsuri celebrated across Japan during the summer months, make origami paper lanterns, paint your own fireworks display, enjoy playing traditional Japanese games, check out special festival outfits, and even learn a little Japanese!
This program is for families with children in Kindergarten and up. No registration is required.
Many people struggle to find relevant information on the internet. This research class discusses the value of internet research and teaches you how to conduct it correctly and how to get the most from your searches. This course addresses basic searches, selecting the right keywords, phrase searching, Boolean operators, filters, and advanced search operators. The class shows you the ways of creating the proper search syntax using Google.
Registration is required as this is a hands-on class and space is limited.

This course will help you practice your English reading, listening, and speaking skills. You will be encouraged to practice speaking and listening with other English learners. We will also spend time on grammar skills and learning fun cultural topics.

We’ll give special recognition to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers who recently reached milestones and provide information on signing up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.
